With the Corporate Transparency Act active at start of this year, and the new ABA Model Rule on mandatory due diligence (MRPC 1.16) passed at last Annual Meeting, this program will consider how these issues touch your IP practice. The Act’s parameters will be examined to consider important scope of representation limitations and understand how “old is new again” with the recent changes to Model Rule 1.16 and client due diligence.
